A Little Pink Pumpkin Made With The Cricut

Can you believe Halloween will be here a week from today. I saw some cute decorative Halloween pumpkins in different colors, so of course I had to jump on that band wagon. I’m not quite sure what possessed me to make a little pink pumpkin with the Cricut for Halloween, but I like it.

Making The Little Pink Pumpkin

The first thing I did before painting my pumpkin was cover the stem with Painters Tape. After I was finished doing that I painted my pumpkin with the White Chalk Paint. While I was waiting for that to dry I started cutting out my shapes in various Halloween colors of vinyl on my Cricut Maker. I cut out 20 of each shape, which was way too many for the size pumpkin I used. I would say maybe around 5-7 of each design.

When the white chalk paint dried, I painted over it with the Pink Chalk Paint.

Once the pink chalk paint was dry, I got my transfer tape out and started putting my shapes on the pumpkin. I didn’t end up using the black layer of the witch. I hid it in the Design Space file, but you can add it back in if you want to use it.

I also made a video of my process for this project.

I hope you will give this project a try. It’s super cute and fun to make. If you make one I would love it if you would share it in my Facebook Group K Peck’s Creative Cafe.

Until next time.
