So, I have a new Etsy store (it’s not open yet) where I’m going to be selling wedding and baby acrylic pieces. I’m super excited about this new venture and am having a blast making these products. I want to share the process with you in case you want to make some wedding party hanger discs.

- Cricut Maker or Cricut Explore
- Cricut Tool Set
- Pin Pen
- 4″ Acrylic Discs
- White Vinyl
- Transfer Tape

- Sponge Brush
- Fringe Chiffon Silk Ribbon
- Kraft Cardstock
- 2.5″ Circle Labels
- Hole Punch
I only took pictures of the finished product, so there aren’t any process videos or pictures of the process.
Step 1
The first thing I did was remove the protective film from one side of the discs. Both sides have the film on them, but you are only going to remove the one side for now.
Step 2
Stir the paint with a popsicle stick until well mixed. Next, paint the the side of the disc (like I did in the picture) on the side you removed the film from. Let dry and paint a second coat. Let dry.
Step 3
Weed your vinyl and use the transfer tape to adhere the vinyl to the disc.
Step 4
Cut your Kraft cardstock to 6″ x 8″ and use a hole punch to punch a hole in the top center of the cardstock. Cut the chiffon ribbon to approximately 16 inches and thread through hole in the disc. Place ribbon through the hole in the Kraft cardstock.
Step 5
Design your labels in Canva using their graphics or make your own. Go to Online Labels’ website (or whatever brand you purchased) and download the template for whichever label you will be using.
The Finished Project
These are perfect for hanging on your plain wedding hangers for each person in your bridal party.
Are you getting married or do you know someone else who is? These wedding party hanger discs would make such a nice gift for the wedding party.
Until next time.
