Valentine Wine Bag With Cricut

I know it’s been a minute since the last time I wrote a blog post, but it’s a new year and a new day. I hope you had a wonderful holiday and New Year. It all went by so fast.

I had the most amazing Christmas with my brother and his family. I just love being close to family again after so many years of living away.

Can you believe we are halfway through January already and Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. I have a fun project for you to make for this special holiday. It’s a Valentine’s Day Wine Bag with Cricut. I swear I could make wine bags all the time with all of the cute patterns out there.

Let’s get started.

Getting Started

Here is a picture of the main supplies you will need.

I have included an instructional video for you.

Step 1

Cut out the design using your red and black vinyl.

Step 2

Heat up your Cricut Mini Press on the middle setting.

When the light turns green, the mini press is ready.

Next, iron the wine bag, on both sides, and get out as many of the wrinkles as you can.

Step 3

After ironing the wine bag, place the black vinyl piece on top of it and press. Move your iron around constantly covering the vinyl for about 20 seconds. Slowly lift the carrier sheet to remove it. If the vinyl comes up, press for a few seconds more.

Once the black vinyl is pressed onto the wine bag, add the red vinyl and press. Use a teflon sheet to keep from pressing directly on the blag vinyl.

Step 4

Here is the finished wine bag and a fun Valentine’s Day wine glass I made.

There are several fun designs in the design bundle. I hope you find one you want to make for that special someone in your life.

Until next time.
