Are you looking to add a little sparkle to your wardrobe, personalize your home decor, or craft something festive for Halloween? Project 3: Halloween Hand Towel Using HTV
Materials Needed:
- HTV
- Blank cotton hand towel
- Heat press
- Heat-resistant tape
- Weeding tool
- Halloween-themed designs
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Create Your Halloween Design:
Choose or create a spooky Halloween design for the towel. You can go for classic jack-o’-lanterns, haunted houses, or a fun Halloween saying like “Trick or Treat.” Make sure your design is sized to fit your towel.
Cut and Weed the HTV:
Load your heat transfer vinyl into the cutting machine. After cutting, use a weeding tool to remove the excess vinyl, leaving only the design you want on the towel.
Press the HTV onto the Towel:
Preheat your heat press to 300-320°F. Place the HTV on the towel, cover with a Teflon sheet, and press for 15-20 seconds. Peel off the carrier sheet once cool, and your Halloween hand towel is ready to go!
Conclusion
And that’s it! With just a few materials and a little creativity, you can make stunning sublimated glitter HTV t-shirts, personalized table signs, and a Halloween hand towel that’s perfect for adding seasonal flair to your home. Sublimation allows you to transfer vibrant, lasting designs onto a variety of surfaces, making these projects both durable and beautiful.
