If you’ve been wanting to try a Cricut project that’s fun, beginner-friendly, and perfect for party decor, this one’s for you! In this tutorial, I’ll show you how I created a 3D letter K and a 3D number 3 using my Cricut machine. These make fantastic centerpieces, personalized gifts, or display items for birthdays, graduations, and more.

Whether you’re just starting your Cricut journey or looking for something new to try, these 3D designs are a great way to add dimension to your paper crafting.

What You’ll Need:

Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Upload The SVG Files to Design Space
Open Cricut Design Space and upload the SVGs for your letter and number. Resize them if needed, depending on how large you want the final piece to be.

2. Prepare Your Mats and Materials
Place your cardstock on the mat and load it into your Cricut. Make sure to set your material type and blade correctly for clean cuts. Don’t forget to load your scoring tool!

3. Cut and Score
Let your Cricut do its magic! The design will cut and score in one go, giving you fold lines and perfect edges.

4. Fold Along the Score Lines
Use a bone folder or your fingers to fold each section along the score lines. Crisp folds will help your 3D shape look clean and professional.

5. Assemble the 3D Shape
Use glue or double-sided tape to attach each tab carefully. It’s easiest to start from one end and work your way around. Take your time and let each section dry before moving on to the next.

6. Add Final Touches
Once your 3D letter and number are assembled, you can leave them plain or decorate with embellishments!
