- Cricut Explore Machine
- Standard Grip Mat
- Cricut Tools
- Cardstock
- Ribbon
- Liquid Adhesive
I am including a video tutorial for this process.
Step One
Once in Cricut Design Space, go to Images and do a search for “Coupon.” When. you find the coupon you want to use, upload it into Design Space.
Ungroup the layers and separate. Change the color of the top layer to white. In order to see it better, click on “Blank Canvas” in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. Then go to the where it says “Color” at the top middle of the screen and change the color of your background.
Go into Contour at the bottom lower right of the screen and click on the dashed lines to hide them. Next go to the “Shapes” option and click on the line (first option) and add it to the screen. Center it where the dashed lines were and adjust the size. Go up to “Operation” on the top left of the screen and change the function to “Perforate.”
Highlight the line and bottom coupon piece and “Attach.”
Step Two
Duplicate the bottom coupon piece and the white top piece to match the number of designs you have chosen. Decide what you want to add to your coupon book and search Design Space for images you can use. Once you find the images you want to use and have added text, select the white top layer piece and the image/text and “Flatten” them.
Repeat these steps until you have all of your coupons made.
I did add one blank coupon page in case I want to write something in.
Step Three
Print and cut your coupon pieces on your Cricut machine. The Cricut will prompt you when to put in the perforation tool. Once everything is cut out, use the liquid adhesive to glue the top layer to the bottom layer of the coupons.
Step 4
Decide what order you want to layer your coupon pages in. Cut a piece of the ribbon and start adding the coupon pages onto the ribbon. Tie a bow and your are done.
