Making The Cupcake Toppers

Here is a link to the instructional video.

All of the design pieces were cut on my Cricut Maker. Normally I fill up a whole 8-1/2″ x 11″ (or you could do 12″ x 12″) with the design so I can have extra for orders when they come in). I cut out the pieces for the front of the topper, and then I mirror the design when I got to cut out the back pieces.

Glue the tail feather, wing pieces, beak, foot and eye pieces, for both the front and the back of the cupcake toppers, onto the base using Liquid Adhesive. Doing them in an assembly line fashion makes it go faster.

Once everything is glued down, flip the pieces face down to attach the toothpicks with the Glossy Accents. Just put a spot of the Glossy Accents on the bottom portion of the cupcake topper and place a toothpick on top of it. Let it dry for several hours.

Last, attach the back of the toppers to the front of the toppers and you are done.
